OpenAudio is a company that has its roots in assisting Hollywood in establishing digital cinema standards, particularly in the realm of immersive audio. As a result, it has become the owner of HOLOSOUND, one of the world’s top three immersive audio technologies. The other two are Dolby’s ATMOS and DTS’s DTS:X. Openaudio has been a major supplier of immersive audio processors, AES67 digital-to-analog converters, and AES67 digital amplifiers to major cinema chains such as AMC in the US, CGV in South Korea, and KCS in Europe. Additionally, it supplies to other prominent global cinema chains like Cinemark, Cineplex, and Vue Cinemas. Currently, the company is focused on bringing the digital cinema experience into homes.

Its core team is made up of individuals from top American universities such as the University of Southern California, New York University, and Columbia University. Many team members also have experience working at major companies like Harman, Samsung, Apple, and Google.
